Hello loves!
Today I have a restorative practice for you. This class was inspired by a note from my friend Elie (Thank you and congratulations Elie!!), who just welcomed a new baby into the world. Although I had postpartum women in mind when I created this class, it is certainly suitable for all yogis.
This practice is greatly enhanced by props! Pillows, blankets, bolsters and a block or stool would make it extra- comforting. You might also wish to practice a few of these poses in the bathtub.
Caution/Take Care: Your body has been through so much. Please take care when deciding when to resume even the gentlest of yoga practices and seek the guidance of your health care provider before attempting this practice. Too much too soon can cause your body to heal at a slower pace. Listen to your body. If lochia flow increases with this practice, then wait. Supported savasana and pranayama alone are transformative and healing. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
