Happy New Year, my dear yogis.

I am so glad to be with you today with a new podcast! This episode was recorded live at a level 1.5 vinyasa flow class.  It’s super accessible, so I’m calling it an all-levels class.

News: You may have noticed that this podcast comes to you less frequently now that I have a little one at home. I am committed to providing free yoga classes on this podcast, but that is only possible during times when she is sleeping and I have all of my other chores crossed off the “to do” list. I am considering offering more frequent content available at a small cost  so that I may use proceeds to pay for childcare a few hours a week to produce this podcast (one class takes roughly 4 hours to create). Your feedback is important to me, so I may ask you to complete a short survey in the coming weeks.

Today’s class is an hour-long, all-levels class.  It’s recorded LIVE at one of my hatha flow classes. Our philosophical focus is on Satya– TRUTH– which is the second yama (restraint).  In this podcast, I talk about Eckhart Tolle (author of The Power of Now and A New Earth), quote Meditations From the Mat and play the Shree Guru Gita performed by Kumuda. 

Oona and I will be traveling for the next month, so our next podcast will manifest sometime around the Autumnal Equinox.  I’m quite excited to share the equinox with my baby.  How do you mark the changing seasons?

Episode 63– Strength in Surrender: Manipura Chakra

Namaste, yogis.  I hope you are enjoying this week!  Oona and I have been practicing outdoors quite a bit lately.  I love the sound of leaves rustling while in tree pose!  Thank you so much for tuning in to today’s class.

This episode features a 30-ish minute class emphasizing core strength physically and the manipura chakra energetically. It is a level 1-2 class.  Listener Jamie had a great suggestion about an instructional video for shoulder stand, so be sure to check that out as well (I’m not quite done editing, so there will be a subsequent post for that one).  And many thanks to Jamie for the comment and suggestion!

Episode 61–Setting a JOYFUL Tone.

Blessings, yogis.  Today’s episode is an intention-filled all-levels class. It lasts about an hour. I recorded this class live during the third trimester of my pregnancy, so there is a bit of fun pregnant lady talk during our inversions! I DO hope you love it and THANK you so much for listening. Since my birthday is coming up, I thought it would be a perfect time to tell you how grateful I am to have you in my life.
