There are so many things I can write about sound and meditation practices, but that would keep them confined to the realm of the mental: the realm where the mind convinces us that by consuming information “about” a practice, we “know” all there is to know. But in these lineages of yoga, Tantra and Buddhism, the through-way is on the path of practice.
There is nothing without practice.
And so, let’s do that, and then we’ll convene about context and data.
Here is a tiny collection of practices you might begin with:
- Bija bath. Listen, sing. Listen & sing. Lie down, sit up.
- Full-length SOUND + meditation class. 75 minutes, includes mantra, movement, listening & meditation.
- Silent (ajapa) mantra practice. Meditation. Un-whispered sound.
