Blessings of LOVE, dear ones.
If you have ever toyed with the idea of bringing meditation into your practice, but need help preparing and focusing, then this is the video for you. Today’s video introduces part 1 of the metta meditation (or loving-kindness meditation). We explore how to begin a meditation practice and the beginning of this powerful practice.

This form of meditation was born in the Buddhist tradition many moons ago. It has been used to cultivate compassion towards all beings, beginning with ourselves. Too often, we suffer due to our rage about a particular circumstance or our feelings toward another person (oftentimes related to their treatment of us). Loving-kindness acts as a portal for releasing ourselves from the chains of those negative thoughts. In the first part of our practice, we experience what it is like to be held by unconditional love. This stage of the practice can take days or years…do it as often as you like or need.
We’ll explore steps 2 and 3 in a few weeks. Until then, I invite you to make the Metta Meditation a part of your life.
I hope you LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

P.S. I have just discovered that my google voice number (direct to voicemail) is actually 503-583-2599 and NOT what I’ve been saying for months. EEK! No wonder I never received your calls! *SMILE*
