Today’s class is 90 minutes of all-levels hatha flow. We explore tapas, or self-discipline. Tapas is one of the foundations of practice, as described by Yoga Sutra 2.1 and one of the Niyamas, or personal observances. I hope you love it. I have been super-jazzed to be teaching about the yamas and niyamas these days.

I love yoga, but it’s so hard to be patient and not try to force myself into positions before I’m ready for them. Great pictures!
It’s so true! Thank you for your kind words.
All goodness, Kelly
Kelly, I so love your podcast! It has been the #1 reason that I have finally been able to develop a home practice! I was listening to this episode (#74, Tapas) today but the recording cut out after 40 min. Was the recording cut short, or maybe was it an uploading issue? I would certainly love to hear the rest. Cheers, Dorothy
Hello there dear Dorothy! Thank you so much for writing. I am so happy to read that the podcast has been helpful to you. I really feel blessed to be a part of that.
I revisited this podcast and was able to hear 1 hour, twenty – six minutes and some change. Maybe if you try to download it again it will play to completion. If not, let me know and I can email you a copy.
All goodness, Kelly
