The message reaches its destined recipient at the perfect moment. I know this is true.

So often have I read, heard, talked about a concept for years before its real message hits me right as I need to hear it. On the other hand, so many times I have read or been taught something, only to roll my eyes or squint; its meaning yet out of range. Only years later will the message strike the chord I know it was meant to.

We are all on our own path. We are right where we need to be.

When I teach, I tend to speak in general terms about the things I need to be taught. Something happens in my life, I know that yoga will help me heal and soothe myself, so I practice it and share with others. And in spite of my intention and my work, I have no control at all over what people will hear and how they will hear it-interpret it. (This is, of course, universally true.) I imagine that at times I have caused eyes to roll. That’s okay. The message meets its recipient at the perfect time. Every now and again a student will recap a class for me, clarifying what she or he heard. It is a lesson in letting go.

Linger in love.

Stay in the love.

Feel your way into the shape.

Relax even more.
