Solidarity, A Mantra

I write this the day after the mass shooting of the week, the week of yet another police murder of an unarmed Black man, the month of serial murders against Asian American women and countless acts of ongoing violence and oppression of people and beings deemed “other” than dominant white, cis-het, currently abled, settler, capitalist culture.

I oppose all violence against and continued suppression of the sovereignty, vitality, preciousness, wholeness and prosperity of Black people. With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the liberation of Black people.

I oppose all violence against and continued suppression of the sovereignty, vitality, preciousness, wholeness and prosperity of Indigenous people. With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the liberation of Indigenous people.

I oppose all violence against and continued suppression of the sovereignty, vitality, preciousness, wholeness and prosperity of Asian Americans and Asian immigrants. With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the liberation of people of Asian origins.

I oppose all violence against and continued suppression of the sovereignty, vitality, preciousness, wholeness and prosperity of all people who do not present “white”. With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the liberation of brown-skinned people.

I oppose all violence against and continued suppression of the sovereignty, vitality, preciousness, wholeness and prosperity of trans, intersex and gender-fluid people. With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the liberation of trans, intersex and gender-fluid people.

I oppose all violence against and continued suppression of the sovereignty, vitality, preciousness, wholeness and prosperity of lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, pansexual, asexual people. With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the liberation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, pansexual, asexual people.

I oppose all violence against and continued suppression of the sovereignty, vitality, preciousness, wholeness and prosperity of disabled people/ people with disabilities. With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the disabled people/ people with disabilities.

I oppose all violence against and continued suppression of the sovereignty, vitality, preciousness, wholeness and prosperity of people who have immigrated, migrated or sought refuge and asylum. With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the liberation of people who have immigrated, migrated or sought refuge and asylum.

I oppose all violence against and continued suppression of the sovereignty, vitality, preciousness, wholeness and prosperity of non-human species and beings. With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the liberation of non-human species and beings.

With my whole heart and my whole life, I support the liberation of all beings, everywhere in space and time.
