When I was pregnant with Oona, my yoga practice remained my constant companion. I practiced nearly every day, even during my labor. Although my physical practice did not change drastically during this time, the energetic quality of my time on the mat and meditation cushion shifted in a significant way. It became quieter. I became quieter. A hushed, but life-changing conversation began between my daughter and me.
Of course the physical practice helped me stay strong and supple for the tasks of carrying a growing belly, the work of labor and birthing and the resilient recovery and discovery of my new life as a mother. I am so grateful for that practice.
And now I am so honored and delighted to be guiding pregnant mamas through a prenatal yoga practice. The wisdom shared by pregnant women is powerful. This will be a magical time, I am certain.
LOVE!
